Shana’s passion for optimal wellness stems from a dynamic history of active living, both recreationally and physically. A stellar competitive dance background preceded a launch into adult fitness, which evolved to programming director for elite fitness studios within the GTA, combined with a line up of high energy class instruction anywhere within a participation count of 10-100! With numerous certifications compiled, she then launched her own women’s private personal training business. Over the years, Shana soon began noticing the parallels between fitness and nutrition. It was evident the two co-existed, yet the realization of how vital what went into the body was a direct outcome of how her clients achieved their results.
Shana has spoken in various forums, to both private and public arenas, including children and their parents, private sector persons of influence, corporate executives, company employees and is recognized as exclusive nutritionist to an OJHL hockey team, powering performance through all of what she promotes.
As an educator in wellness and prevention, her comprehensive training focuses on science, body functions and symptoms, whole foods and quality food production and processes, natural source supplements, healthy lifestyle practices, and the connections between the body, mind and spirit.
Shana’s training is premised on the functions of the digestive, immune and other whole-body systems. Her ability to recognize food intolerance and allergies, blood sugar fluctuations and the multiple causes of inflammation, which are the source of many common health conditions is an asset to any client who is looking to achieve optimal health.
